High school football makes up much of the Friday schedule as the season gets underway in Arkansas and Missouri, and for the second consecutive year, Mountain Home will begin the season by meeting Sheridan at a neutral site. The Bombers and Yellowjackets will play on the campus of Arkansas Tech University in Russellville for the state’s Week 0.

Mountain Home is looking to bounce back from last year’s 0-10 season. Sheridan ended the 2018 campaign with a 2-8 record. The season started at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock with the Bombers falling to the Yellowjackets 34-7.

Mountain Home head coach Bryan Mattox is beginning his third year at the helm, and he says the players are excited to be playing against someone else.
