Tuesday volleyball results, MHHS gets win

The Mountain Home High School volleyball team picked up a 2-0 win at West Plains, winning by scores of 25-15 and 25-19.

Anna Grace Foreman had 9 kills, Riley Straka had 6 digs and Kiana Chapa finished with 21 assists.

In the J.V. match, Mountain Home defeated West Plains 25-11 and 25-9.

Katelyn Hill had 6 kills, Georgia Burnham and Tatum Smith each had 4 kills and Kiah Beard had 15 assists.

The junior high “A” team defeated West Plains 25-14 and 25-13.

Lauren Wehmeyer and Emma Wilber each had 5 kills, Cate Jackson had 5 digs and Carson Schmitz had 11 assits.

The Mountain Home junior high “B” team was at Harrison where they lost 2-1.

The Mountain Home seventh grade team also lost 2-1 at Harrison.

In other volleyball Tuesday night:

The Mountain Home Christian Academy volleyball teams split their matches at Izard County. The Lady Eagles won the varsity match 3-1. Izard County took the junior high match 2-1.

Cotter was a 3-0 winner over Flippin in varsity action. The Lady Warriors won by scores of 25-22, 25-17 and 25-23. Cotter is now 1-1, while Flippin falls to 0-2.

Yellville-Summit lost to Bergman 3-0.
