The Mountain Home Pilots youth football teams played three games at Highland and came away with one win.
The 3rd/4th Grade Pilots began the day with a 27-0 shutout victory. Mountain Home scored on a 30-yard run by Garrett Watts, a 45-yard run by Avery Goss, a 10-yard run by Miguel Albares and a 40-yard run by Tanner Alkire. Hudson Spears provided an interception for the Pilots. Mountain Home improves to 1-0 on the season.
The 5th Grade Pilots did not fare as well as they fell to Highland 7-0. Highland scored the go-ahead touchdown with 36 seconds remaining on the clock. Mountain Home falls to 0-1 on the year.
The 6th Grade Pilots rounded out the day by losing to Highland 27-0. Mountain Home begins the season at 0-1.
The Pilots will travel to Salem next week.
