Mountain Home volleyball teams sweep Nettleton

Mountain Home swept all three volleyball matches at home Thursday night against Nettleton.

The high school team cruised to a 3-0 win to improve to 5-1 overall and 3-1 in the 5A East. Mountain Home won by scores of 25-18, 25-14 and 25-13. Claudia Carter had 12 kills and four blocks, Leah Carter finished with 41 assists and 9 digs, Elaine Blackmon had 15 digs, Anna Grace Foreman had nine kills and Kylee Sabella had seven kills.

In the J.V. match, Mountain Home defeated Nettleton 25-14 and 25-13. Kiah Beard had 23 assists, Riley Schmitz had seven digs and Mallory Pierski had seven kills.

Mountain Home won the junior high match by scores of 25-22 and 25-15 to improve their record to 3-3 overall and 2-2 in league play. Cate Jackson had 11 digs, Carson Schmitz had 13 assists and nine digs, Emma Wilbur collected nine kills and four blocks and Lauren Wehmeyer had six kills and eight digs.
