Credit: Jen RosensteinKISS has postponed the final three dates on the current North American leg of its The End of the Road farewell tour because bassist/singer Gene Simmons needed to return to Los Angeles for “a medical procedure.”

The affected dates are shows that were scheduled for September 14 at the USANA Amphitheatre in the Salt Lake City area, September 16 at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California, and September 20 at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.

In a message posted on KISS Online regarding the September 14 postponement, Simmons writes, “Nothing serious. But it must be taken care of now. Thank you for your good wishes. All is well.”

The Oakland show has been rescheduled for March 6, 2020, and the L.A. concert now will take place on March 4 of next year, while a new date for the Salt Lake City area performance is expected to be announced soon.

Next up for KISS is the ninth annual edition of The KISS Kruise, which runs from October 30 to November 4.

The rock legends then head Down Under for a series of shows in Australia and New Zealand, running from mid-November to early December. The band also has five concerts in Japan scheduled for December.
