Eagle Rock EntertainmentBlack Crowes spinoff group The Magpie Salute‘s upcoming sophomore studio album, High Water II, due out October 18, can be pre-ordered now. The record is available on CD, as a vinyl two-LP set and digitally.

Special bundles packaging the CD and vinyl discs with merch like a Magpie Salute beer koozie, turntable mat, vinyl groove washer kit and t-shirt iron-on can be purchased at BandWear.com.

High Water II was recorded at Nashville’s Dark Horse Studios simultaneously with the group’s 2018 debut studio effort, High Water I, and is considered the second part of a two-album project.

“We’re all really happy to put out the second half of High Water,” says Magpie Salute guitarist Rich Robinson. “Since its inception, I always viewed it as a single piece. High Water II will tie together both albums into a whole journey.”

In advance of High Water II, The Magpie Salute released a three-track EP called In Here earlier this month. The EP features two songs from the upcoming album, “In Here” and “Lost Boy,” as well as the non-album track “Passenger.”

You can check out “In Here” and “Lost Boy” — the latter of which includes guest vocals and fiddle by country/bluegrass star Alison Krauss — on the group’s official YouTube channel.
