Mountain Home sweeps 3 volleyball matches at West Memphis

Mountain Home swept all three volleyball matches at West Memphis Tuesday night without losing a set.

In the high school match, Mountain Home won 3-0 with scores of 25-13, 25-13 and 28-26.

Leah Jackson had 10 digs and 42 assists, Elaine Blackmon had 13 digs, Claudia Carter finished with 13 kills, Charlie Pierce had 12 kills and Reanna Dodge had six kills and six blocks.

The Lady Bombers improve to 8-2 overall and 4-1 in the 5A East Conference.

Mountain Home won the high school J.V. match by scores of 25-13 and 25-13.

Kiah Beard had 25 assists, Riley Schmitz had 14 digs and Kendall Carter added 12 kills.

In the junior high match, Mountain Home topped West Memphis by scores of 25-11 and 25-8.

Cate Jackson served four aces, Carson Schmitz had 12 assists and 4 aces and Lauren Wehmeyer had five kills.

The Junior Lady Bombers improve to 7-3 overall and 4-2 in league play.

The high school teams host Searcy Thursday.
