The Mountain Home High School tennis teams hosted Searcy Thursday at the Mountain Home Athletic Club.
The Lady Bombers were able to beat the Lady Lions 7-1. Meagan Beck picked up two 8-0 wins in singles competition, and Cambelle Lance also had an 8-0 victory. In doubles play, the team of Sarah Godfrey and Macie Heide picked up 8-1 and 8-4 wins, and Micaela McLean and Madelyn Smeltzer had wins of 8-3 and 8-1.
On the boys’ side, Mountain Home and Searcy ended up in a 4-4 tie. Banks Gregory picked up two singles victories, and another was added by Dodge Harris. Sam and Alex Arp had the lone win for Mountain Home in doubles play.
