The Pilots took over on offense and with big runs from Avery Goss and Miguel Albares, it set up a eight-yard touchdown run up the middle from Hudson Speer making the score 14-0. Cave City stopped the extra point attempt. The Pilots defense kept Cave City offense deep in their territory. Watts then added another touchdown to end the half at 20-0 Pilots. Cave City started the second half with the ball, before turning it over on downs. On the Pilots’ first possession of the second half, Avery Goss ran in for a touchdown, but the play was called back due to a holding penalty. The Pilots defense contributed to the score with a safety ending the game 22-0.  Third/fourth grade Pilots’ record improves to 2-1.
