Omnivore RecordingsIt’s been more than 25 years since the world has been without Harry Nilsson, who died in January 1994 at the age of 52, but a brand-new album by the acclaimed singer/songwriter called Losst and Founnd is set to be released on November 22.

The album features songs that Nilsson had been working on at the time of his death, and includes nine original tunes, plus covers of Jimmy Webb‘s “What Does a Woman See in a Man” and Yoko Ono‘s “Listen, the Snow Is Falling.”

Veteran producer and songwriter Mark Hudson, who was collaborating with Nilsson on the project, oversaw the completion of the album.

Losst and Founnd‘s liner notes includes a new message Hudson penned to Nilsson about the record. It reads: “Dear Harry…It’s been a little over 25 years since we’ve had one of ‘our conversations’ and I can’t tell you how much I miss your wisdom, humor, passion, stories, and most of all…your music…Anyway, I finally finished the record we were working on…All of your ideas I would write down, and I have put them into this project…Making this album was a dream come true for me. I promised you we would finish it and get it out there one day and that day has finally come!”

The album features contributions from a variety of guest artists, including Webb, songwriter Van Dyke Parks, famed session drummer Jim Keltner, and Harry’s son Kiefo.

The record’s lead track, “Lost and Found,” is available now as a digital single and via streaming services. You also can check it out at Nilsson’s official YouTube channel.
