The newly announced trek includes 17 dates, kicking off on February 26 in Calgary, Canada, and plotted out through a March 24 show on Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

As previously reported, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer’s current shows feature a full performance of Genesis’ 1973 album, Selling England by the Pound, as well as songs from his 1979 solo effort, Spectral Mornings, and his latest album, 2019’s At the Edge of Light.

“I’m thrilled to be performing the whole of my favorite Genesis album, Selling England by the Pound, which caught the attention of John Lennon in 1973,” Hackett says in a statement. “Also I look forward to playing all the favorite songs from Spectral Mornings, marking its [40th] anniversary, plus new album tasters, as well as additional Genesis gems in a terrific grand slam!”

Steve’s current outing continues tonight with a concert in Cleveland and runs through an October 20 performance in Oakland, California. He also will be touring the U.K. in November.

Meanwhile, Hackett will be releasing a new concert album and video called Genesis Revisited Band & Orchestra: Live at the Royal Festival Hall on October 25. The collection, which is available as a two-CD/DVD/Blu-ray set, captures an October 2018 show in London featuring Steve and his current backing group accompanied by an orchestra. The show featured a selection of Genesis songs dating from Hackett’s tenure with the band, as well as some tunes from Steve’s solo catalog.
