MHHS tennis teams get wins on senior night

The Mountain Home High School tennis teams picked up a pair of wins at home Tuesday over Highland for senior night.

The Lady Bombers finish the year with an 11-1 record, after topping Highland 2-1.

Meagan Beck won in singles play, while the team of Sarah Godfrey and Macie Heidi got a win in doubles play.

On the boy’s side, Mountain Home defeated Highland 4-2 to finish the year 8-4.

Winning in singles play was Banks Gregory. The doubles teams of Clayton Jones and Jake McGehee along with Sam Arp and Jeff Hodges each picked up wins.

The Class 5A State Tournament is next week in Hot Springs. On the girl’s side, Beck competes in singles play, and the team of Godfrey and Heidi play in doubles action. Dodge Harris represents the Mountain Home boys on the singles bracket, and the team of Jones and McGehee play in doubles.
