An open house is set for Friday at Hospice of the Ozarks’ new administration and warehouse building, located at 811 Burnett Drive in Mountain Home, adjacent to the Hospice House.

Hours for the event are from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., with a ribbon cutting at noon and tours given throughout the day. No reservations are required for the tours.

Executive Director Greg Wood told KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot news in February 2018 a new two-story administration building was in the works.

At the time of the announcement, Wood said the stage was set for this development about 15 to 20 years ago with some large gifts and donations.

Wood said in 2018, just as construction got underway, the project had a price tag of about $3.5 million.

He said Hospice House and the new administrative office building are owned by Hospice of the Ozarks, a subsidiary of Baxter Regional Medical Center. Prior to the construction of the new administration building, Hospice had operated from a BRMC building.
