Baseball, softball and basketball are on the local Thursday schedule.
In high school softball, Bakersfield makes the trip to Ava, and Gainesville heads to Dora.
In fall baseball, Gainesville travels to Hartville.
A couple of local schools will give their fans a chance to preview the upcoming basketball season. Norfork will host its Red-White games, and the Black-Orange games will be held at Viola.
