Mountain Home Parks and Recreation will host a Halloween dance at the L.C. Sammons Youth Center in Cooper Park for youth in kindergarten, first and second grade Saturday evening from 5 until 7. Parents or guardians must be present with their children.The cost is $3 per person for youth center members and $5 per person for non-members.Organizers says the evening will be packed with fun, including approved music and lighting provided by youth center staff, costume dance contests, door prizes, free snacks and punch.The event will be chaperoned by MHP&R staff and community volunteers.
The L.C. Sammons Youth Center will be closed to youth activities Saturday due to preparation for the Halloween dance.
