Twenty-year-old twin brothers charged with selling a vehicle they did not own for scrap have entered not guilty pleas to charges against them.

Joshua Kahn Williams and his brother, Jordan Bryce Williams, were arrested following an investigation in mid-September based on a report of a missing vehicle. The victim said around the first of September, she had been given permission to park her car at a friend’s home, until she could make arrangements to have it towed.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Joshua Williams had allegedly contacted a salvage company Sept. 5 to inquire about how much he could expect to be paid for the car.

When salvage company personnel arrived to tow the car, they met with the twins and a price was negotiated, according to the probable cause affidavit.

The brothers are charged with theft of property and are free on bond.
