Following his time playing baseball, Studdard moved to Kansas City, Missouri, and began a career with Hallmark Cards, where he would rise to department management. He later moved to western Kansas, invested in oil leases and pursued his outdoor passions of hunting and fishing. He resides on a farm in western Missouri and maintains well-stocked ponds.

Studdard will be inducted during the MHHS Athletic Hall of Honor Banquet Saturday at the Mountain Home High School cafeteria. The reception begins at noon, and lunch will be served an hour later.
