A man is dead after his tractor apparently overturned, pinning him beneath it. The West Plains Daily Quill reports 82-year-old Loren Edward Tharp was killed in the accident.
The Howell County Sheriff’s Office was notified Monday morning of the accident at property on Missouri Route K. Officials believe Tharp was driving the tractor on a hillside when he ran over a stump causing the tractor to overturn.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
