The British Invasion legend beat out fellow nominees Barry Manilow and country artist Dwight Yoakam for the honor. The ceremony, which took place at the Vinyl club located in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, is held in conjunction with the Global Gaming Expo.

You can check out a photo of Peter receiving the award at his official Instagram page.

Among the many hits Herman’s Hermits released during their 1960s heyday were “I’m Into Something Good,” “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter,” “I’m Henry VIII, I Am” and “There’s a Kind of Hush.” Noone also has acted on Broadway, on London’s West End, in films and on TV.

Peter and the current incarnation of Herman’s Hermits have more than 50 North American concerts on their schedule, which is mapped out through a June 27, 2020, show in Enoch, Alberta, Canada. Not surprisingly, many of the gigs will be held at casinos.
