A Mountain Home High School student is accused of providing his vape to two other students, who were later transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center. According to Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel, the 17-year-old male juvenile was taken into custody and transferred to Baxter County Juvenile Services on one count of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana).

Baxter County 911 dispatch received a call Friday morning of an ambulance needed at Mountain Home High School Career Academies. Mountain Home School District personnel and the school resource officer also arrived on the scene where the male allegedly admitted to providing two female students access to his vape. The females, whose ages were unknown, reportedly felt sick after ingesting a liquid from the vape and were transported to the emergency room.

Chief Manuel says the investigation is continuing.
