A Mountain Home woman has been arrested, after allegedly entering a residence to retrieve some records. Thirty-seven-year-old Deanna Blue is out on bond, as she faces a felony count of breaking or entering and a misdemeanor count of theft of property.

According to the probable cause affidavit, a Baxter County deputy was dispatched to the residence on Lake Norfork Drive in Henderson on Oct. 10 on a report of a suspicious female on the property. The witness called again and stated a female ran through the woods behind her house, entered a vehicle and left. The witness also gave a description of the female and the vehicle and said it was heading toward Mountain Home.

The deputy reportedly observed the vehicle on U.S. Highway 62/412, turning onto County Road 832, also known as Crystal Cove Road, in Henderson. The deputy initiated a traffic stop and observed two males and two females in the vehicle. One of the females, identified as Blue, reportedly admitted going into the residence. She stated she purchased some records from a Baxter County Detention Center inmate and was told she could pick them up at the residence. Blue reportedly admitted she didn’t know anyone at the residence or if the inmate had any standing to give her permission to enter the residence.

A Baxter County investigator later arrived and met with Blue and the deputy. He then met with the witness and was told she observed Blue exit the residence with a stack of records in one arm and an unidentified item in the other arm. The witness claims Blue gave her a different identity, took the items back to the residence and placed them just inside the door before leaving. The investigator attempted to process the scene, but the door was locked.

Blue was booked that evening into the detention center. She was released last Sunday afternoon, after posting a bond of $2,500.
