He says the song was inspired by a breakup he went through.

“I loved her dearly, but she wanted to get married really fast, and I was saying…’Just give me a little more time,'” Tito explains. “And, to make a long story short, she couldn’t wait, so she [wound] up leaving, and I was just trying to explain to her…’You’re not going to find another one like me…I’ve been good to you, I love you, and you’re gonna make a U-turn, but the bridge is going to be burning.'”

Since the release of Tito Time, Tito has been performing one or more of his solo tunes at his concerts with his band The Jacksons, featuring his brothers and fellow Jackson Five members Jackie, Jermaine and Marlon.

“[I]t’s been a lot of fun…working with the brothers and having them to sing behind me for once,” the guitarist and singer tells ABC Audio.

Earlier this month, Jackson released an official video for the “One Way Street” remix. You can check it out at his official YouTube channel. The track is available now digitally and via streaming services.

The Jacksons currently have just one confirmed upcoming concert on their schedule, a February 28, 2020, show at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California.
