A Marion County man, 34-year-old David Alan Hoolihan of Summit, is being held on 10 counts of incest and a single charge of second-degree sexual assault.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed Thursday, Hoolihan was taken into custody Tuesday morning, after a Marion County Sheriff’s deputy responded to an incident regarding sexual abuse and a domestic dispute at a residence along Oak Street in Summit.

The deputy arrived to hear shouting coming from inside the residence. Inside he reportedly found Hoolihan and a 34-year-old female and ordered them to separate.

Hoolihan was advised he would be detained, and the Marion County man reportedly began to pull away from the officer. He was then advised he would be Tased, if he did not comply.

Hoolihan allegedly said he was going to jail anyway for his actions involving a minor female. He also reportedly told the deputy he wanted to talk.

Hoolihan was formally interviewed at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, where he is alleged to have admitted having sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old female. Online court documents indicate the sexual assault charge is in connection with an alleged incident involving an 11-year-old female.

His bond has been set at $100,000.
