A man was arrested in Fulton County after authorities reportedly located a homemade shotgun in his vehicle. Thirty-three-year-old Matthew Arnold, whose address was not listed, faces a count of being a certain person in possession of a firearm.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Arnold has an active search waiver on file. His vehicle was searched Sept. 26, and two galvanized cut-off pipes, approximately 13 3/4 inches long, were located together with a clamp. A Remington Express 12-gauge shotgun live round was reportedly located in one pipe, and the other was a hollow pipe with a makeshift trigger mechanism attached to it. Several more live 12-gauge rounds were found in a plastic bag, and a homemade sight system, which can be used on the homemade shotgun, was also found.

Arnold’s bond was set at $25,000.
