Journey and The Pretenders teaming up for 60-plus-date North American tour in 2020

Courtesy of Live Nation EntertainementBack in June, Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain revealed to ABC Audio that his band was plotting a major 2020 tour with The Pretenders.  Now full details of the trek have been announced.

The massive North American outing will feature more than 60 dates, kicking off May 15 in Ridgefield, Washington, and plotted out through a September 12 concert in Bethel, New York.

Tickets for the shows go on sale to the general public on November 8 at 10 a.m. local time.

American Express card members will be able to buy pre-sale tickets for select shows starting Monday, November 4, at 10 a.m. local time, while pre-sale opportunities for Citi card members and some other local customers will start on Tuesday, November 5, at 10 a.m. In addition, VIP packages will be sold at LaneOne.com starting this Monday.

Journey and The Pretenders are both Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, receiving the honor in 2017 and 2005, respectively.

Prior to the 2020 trek, Journey has a four-show Las Vegas engagement lined up at The Colosseum at Caesars on December 27, 28, 30 and 31.
