A Thornfield man was injured in a one-vehicle accident Thursday night in Ozark County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 26-year-old Timothy Kurowski was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with what were described as moderate injuries.
Kurowski was traveling on Missouri Highway 5 when he failed to negotiate a curve nearly 5 miles north of Gainesville. His vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a bluff, overturned and came to rest on its wheels. Kurowski was ejected from the vehicle. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.
Kurowski’s vehicle was totaled in the 11 p.m. accident.
