The annual Veterans Day ceremony hosted by the North Central Arkansas Veterans Council will have a change of venue due to the threat of inclement weather. The event will begin Monday at 11 a.m. in the New Life Center of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church at 249 Dyer Street.

The local Knights of Columbus will be this year’s featured organization, and Peter Tottenham will represent the organization as keynote speaker. Reverend Norbert Rappold of St. Peter will serve as the chaplain.

Raquel Houk will sing the “Star Spangled Banner,” and other patriotic music will be provided by the Mountain Home High School band. Various patriotic organizations will provide the Color Guards, and military honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post 52 Honor Guard.

Cake and coffee will be served at the church following the ceremony. For more information, contact Dave or Geri Butts at 870-424-4424.
