A note on the band’s website reads, “Due to a bad case of Influenza, doctors have advised Paul Stanley to rest for the next few days and not to undertake the long trip from Los Angeles to Perth. With the expectation of Australian audiences high, KISS don’t want to not give 100% and so have made changes to the Australian and New Zealand dates.”
The tour will now begin in Adelaide on November 19. The band’s original kickoff show — November 16 in Perth — has now been moved to December 3, and all tickets for the original date will be valid for the new one. You can get a refund if you can’t make it.
The band’s show in Auckland, New Zealand, which was originally scheduled for December 3, has been canceled, and will now be moved to a later part of the tour. Fans can get refunds at point of purchase.
In September, KISS had to postpone a show due to Gene Simmons‘ kidney stones; he eventually had surgery in October.
The band recently revealed that their End of the Road tour will end July 17, 2021 in their hometown of New York City.
