Doors guitarist Robby Krieger was on hand to jam with Lady Gaga when Gaga dropped by NoMad Restaurant after her Jazz & Piano residency show at the Park Theater at Park MGM to perform with her longtime friend and collaborator, trumpeter Brian Newman, during his regular residency there.

After Gaga sang some jazz standards, Krieger hit the stage with her.

First, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer played The Doors’ signature hit, “Light My Fire,” and then he and Gaga jammed on “Is You Is or Is You Ain’t My Baby,” a Louis Jordan song from 1944. Legendary jazz trumpeter Terence Blanchard also came onstage to join in the fun.

Next up for Krieger: He’ll reunite with Doors drummer John Densmore for a rare performance together at the first Homeward Bound Concert, a charity event that will take place on January 23, 2020, at the famed Wiltern theater in Los Angeles. Proceeds from the show will benefit PATH, an L.A.-based non-profit that seeks to provide permanent housing, employment training, healthcare and other services to homeless people throughout California.
