MHHS basketball teams set for benefit action Tuesday

High school basketball makes up the local Tuesday schedule.

The Mountain Home boys will have one more preseason tuneup, as they welcome Highland to Bomber Gymnasium for benefit action. The junior varsity game tips off at 5 p.m., followed by the freshmen and varsity contests.

Mountain Home’s girls will be in Mountain View to make up their benefit game. Action gets started at 5:15, and the Yellowjacket boys will follow with a game against Cedar Ridge.

Elsewhere, Norfork travels to Valley Springs, Bruno-Pyatt entertains Lead Hill, Mountain Home Christian Academy heads to Brockwell to face Izard County, Timbo hosts Concord, Rural Special travels to Guy-Perkins, Bergman entertains Alpena, and Omaha makes the trip to Western Grove.

Cotter’s games against Jasper, Flippin’s games at Viola Yellville-Summit’s games at home against Mount Judea and Calico Rock’s home games against St. Joe have been cancelled.
