Basketball makes up the local Tuesday schedule, as Mountain Home’s freshmen teams return to Searcy to play on the consolation bracket of the Cub Classic. The Junior Lady Bombers meet West Memphis Wonder at 6:30, and the Mountain Home boys will follow with a 7:30 game.
In other junior high basketball, Norfork travels to Melbourne, Marshall hosts Valley Springs, and Jasper entertains Alpena.
On the high school level, both of Mountain View’s teams will play in the Highland Classic. The Lady Yellowjackets will face Tuckerman at 5, and the Mountain View boys will take on the host Rebels at 6:15.
Elsewhere, Cotter makes the trip to Deer, Bruno-Pyatt heads to Western Grove, Viola travels to Calico Rock, Mammoth Spring makes the trip to Monette to play Buffalo Island Central, St. Joe heads to Omaha, Timbo is home against Shirley, and Bergman travels to Berryville.
