Now The Boss has released a new archival live compilation called The Live Series: Songs from Around the World that features 15 performances spanning from 1981 to 2016 from concerts he played in a variety of countries.
The album, which is available now as a digital download and via streaming services, features songs that were chosen for their resonance and for their ability to connect people regardless of where they may be from.
The collection kicks off with a cover of John Fogerty‘s “Rockin’ All Over the World” from a 2012 show in Helsinki, Finland, and includes renditions of a number of lesser-known Springsteen gems, such “Murder Incorporated,” “New York City Serenade” and “Incident on 57th Street.” The album ends with a version of “Born in the U.S.A.” that was played in Milan, Italy, in 2016.
Other performances on Songs from Around the World were recorded at shows in Australia, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Sweden and New Zealand.
