The City of Flippin is among seven Arkansas communities receiving water and wastewater project funding. The Arkansas Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Commission approved funding for the projects earlier this month.The City of Flippin received a loan of more than $1.7 million and a second of more than $1.5 million with principle forgiveness from the Arkansas Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund.
The funds will be used for compliance measures at the city’s wastewater treatment facility. Customers served by this project total 588.
