4 local residents among governor’s appointments

Four local residents are among a group of appointments announced by Governor Asa Hutchinson.Among the four is Keith Edmonds of Bruno, who was appointed to the Arkansas 911 Board. Edmonds’ appointment expires July 24, 2021. The Arkansas 911 Board is new, having been created by Act 660 of the Regular (legislative) Session 2019.

Pamela Setser of Mountain View has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of Ozarka Technical College. Setser’s appointment expires July 1, 2026. She replaces Tim Gammill.

Vickie Burlsworth of Harrison has been reappointment to the Arkansas Board of Dispensing Opticians. Burlsworth’s appointment expires June 30, 2020.

Also among the appointments is Stone County Judge Stacey Avey of Timbo. Avey was appointed to the Outdoor Recreation Grants Advisory Committee. His appointment expires Jan. 7, 2023. Avey replaces Josh Barger.
