The Mountain Home High School band leaves Monday for Orlando, Florida, where the members will take part in a competition Thanksgiving morning.
The band will spend four days and nights in Orlando and perform Thursday morning. The band will compete in the Walt Disney World Thanksgiving Parade of Bands.
Band Director Tom Chentnik says Mountain Home will be joined by bands from Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana for the competition.

The Mountain Home High School Band also has upcoming performances in the Mountain Home Christmas Parade Dec. 6, and its annual Christmas concert is Dec. 15 at The Sheid on the Arkansas State University-Mountain Home campus.
