MJ Kim/MPL Communications Ltd.Paul McCartney thrilled a group of attendees at a private party Saturday night in Jersey City, New Jersey, when he joined the house band to belt out a rendition of the 1963 Beatles classic “I Saw Her Standing There” as his wife, Nancy Shevell, danced by his side.

The occasion was a holiday party for New England Motor Freight (NEMF), the trucking company owned by Shevell’s father that filed for bankruptcy in February 2019. According to NJ.com, Nancy, who’s an NEMF executive, hosted the bash, and she and her husband stayed for the entire party.

A number of people who attended the event shot video of the former Beatles legend singing “I Saw Her Standing There” and posted clips of the performance on their social media pages.

Another video shows McCartney and Shevell dancing along to Beyonce‘s 2003 hit “Crazy in Love.”
