MH girls finish 3rd, boys end up 4th in Conway wrestling tourney

The Mountain Home High School wrestling teams were on the road Saturday, as they took part in the Conway Invitational.

The Lady Bombers finished third on the girls’ side. Angel Pendergrass placed second in the 108-pound division, Danielle Frencl was second in the 116, Laurel Chafin ended up second in the 140, Trinity Willett took second place in the 150 weight class, Jasmin Flores finished third in the 100-pound division, Ashlynn Martin placed third in the 124, Amelia Frounfelter was third in her division, and Kassandra Kartochvil ended up fourth in her division.

Mountain Home ended up in fourth place in the boys’ results. Michael Davis took second place in the 120-pound division, Austin Callies finished second in the 132-weight class, Samuel Alvarez placed second in the 152, Lawson Stockton finished second in the 160, Drew Yonkers placed third in the 113, Brandon Wheat was third in the 170, Judah Lagg ended up third in the 182, Nathaniel Ross took fifth place in the heavyweight division, Aaron Talburt finished sixth in the 220, and Joseph Pierski placed in the 145-pound division.
