New Grammy holiday auction offers signed items from Sting, Christine McVie, Cyndi Lauper & more stars

A&M Records; Warner MusicA new Grammy-sponsored charity auction has been launched in celebration of the holiday season, and it’s offering autographed collectibles signed by a variety of music stars.  Among the items up for bid: vinyl LPs autographed by Sting, Fleetwood Mac‘s Christine McVie and Cyndi Lauper.

The albums include signed vinyl copies of Sting’s The Dream of the Blue Turtles, McVie’s 1984 self-titled solo album and Lauper’s She’s So Unusual.

The auction also features a drum head autographed by Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen, and separate Grammy Museum posters signed by Police drummer Stewart Copeland, Todd Rundgren, Edgar Winter and folk singer/songwriter Judy Collins.

Bidders also have the opportunity to score tickets to 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year tribute honoring Aerosmith on January 24, as well as the chance to attend the 62nd annual Grammy Awards on January 26.

The eBay auction runs through Wednesday, December 11. All proceeds go to benefit the Grammy Museum or MusiCares, the charitable arm of the Recording Academy.
