Basketball makes up most of the local Wednesday schedule, as tournament play continues.
The Battle of the Border Tournament resumes at Mammoth Spring. In the girls’ consolation semifinals, Bakersfield and Koshkonong will tip off at 4 p.m., and Gainesville meets Calico Rock at 7. On the boys’ side, Bakersfield faces Hillcrest in the semifinals at 5:30, and Calico Rock will be paired with Koshkonong on the consolation bracket at 8:30.
Mountain View’s boys will be in Batesville to compete in the quarterfinals of the Mark Martin Automotive/Lyon College High School Tournament. The Yellowjackets take on Batesville at 7:45.
The Bergman boys will play their first game in the Arvest Bank Duel at the Dome in West Fork. The Panthers will tip off at 5:30 against Greenland.
