Winter weather is expected to affect most of the listening area Monday and into Monday evening. The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for most of Southern Missouri until midnight including Ozark, Douglas, Howell and Taney counties.
National Weather Service meteorologist Eric Wise says the winter weather will affect travel, especially the farther north you go.

The forecast for Northern Arkansas calls for chances of rain and light freezing rain Monday morning, rain in the afternoon and then light rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow Monday evening, but at this time, travel impacts are expected to be minimal.
