Law enforcement in Stone County has arrested a couple now charged with five felony counts involving children and pornography. The two are being held on bonds of $500,000 each.

According to probable cause affidavits filed Monday, 35-year-old Belinda Lewis of Mountain View and 46-year-old Jason Brewer of Leslie are charged with engaging children in sexually explicit conduct for use in visual or print medium; producing, directing, or promoting a sexual performance by a child; computer child pornography; computer exploitation of a child in the first degree; and distributing, possessing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

The arrests and charges stem from a tip through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s CyberTipline. Through an investigation of an internet service provider (ISP), Brewer’s residence was allegedly identified.

Investigators served a search warrant at Brewer’s residence on Dec. 3, gathering additional evidence to be analyzed and taking the Searcy County man into custody.

During the execution of a search warrant of Brewer’s phone, evidence was located leading investigators to Lewis.
