MHHS basketball teams set to play at Harrison

High school basketball makes up much of the local Tuesday schedule, as the Mountain Home High School teams will be back on the road. The Bombers and Lady Bombers will be paired with Harrison.
Mountain Home’s girls are 6-1 on the season. The Lady Bombers suffered their first loss of the season Saturday in the championship game of the Cabot Pre-Holiday Classic after falling to the host team.
The Mountain Home boys have a record of 3-4. The Bombers finished fourth in the tournament at Cabot after suffering a loss to Pulaski Academy.
The junior varsity games begin at 5 p.m. at Goblin Arena. The varsity contests begin around 6 and can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.

Elsewhere, Cotter hosts Western Grove, Yellville-Summit entertains St. Joe, Bruno-Pyatt travels to Lead Hill, Bakersfield’s boys make the trip to Norwood, the Gainesville boys are home against Galena, Gainesville’s girls head to Forsyth, Viola hosts Omaha, Salem will send its three boys’ teams to Monette to meet Buffalo Island Central, Mammoth Spring entertains KIPP Blytheville Collegiate, Calico Rock is home against Izard County, Melbourne hosts Tuckerman for three boys’ games, Marshall entertains Rose Bud, Mountain View is home against Hoxie, Bergman travels to Green Forest, and Jasper hosts Alpena.
