If you have been dreaming about walking in a winter wonderland for Christmas this year, you will have to head north. The chances of a white Christmas in the Twin Lakes Area do not look good for next week.
National Weather Service meteorologist Travis Shelton says the weather maps for next week indicate mild temperatures and no snow for our area.

The average high for Christmas day is 45, while the average low is 25.
Shelton says the fact we won’t have a white Christmas this year is not unusual.

So far this season, 1/4 of an inch of snow has been received. That fell on Nov. 11.
