A one-vehicle accident in Newton County Tuesday afternoon involving an overturned tractor-trailer has claimed the life of a Little Rock man.
The Arkansas State Police’s preliminary crash report indicates 48-year-old Carlos E. Tabron was the driver of the truck traveling north on State Highway 21 south of Boxley. Tabron’s vehicle failed to negotiate a downhill right-hand curve, exited the left side of the roadway and overturned on the driver’s side in a field.
The report notes the weather was clear at the time of the 3:25 p.m. crash.
