Christian Petersen/Getty ImageBret Michaels has five resolutions for 2020 and one of them is to “rock harder.”  That means his upcoming Poison tour with Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard is set for a healthy dose of adrenaline.

Michaels told People on Tuesday that The Stadium Tour, which starts July 9 in Orlando, was a labor of love.  “I’ve been working on that for years, hoping we could put it together with everybody and it just worked,” he gushed.

As for what fans can expect, the 56-year-old promises, “It will be an absolute, all out, high energy party. I think people are excited for a live, good time summer party with great music.”

There is a reason why Michaels plans to go all out on this particular tour, and that is to thank fans for supporting him through the years.

“We now have three or four generations of amazing fans and I’m thankful for every single one of them and all those great years that let me live out what I love to do, which is being on the road and playing music,” he explained, saying how much he wants them to know how grateful he is.

Besides thanking fans with an all-out tour, he also promises that he’s not slowing down anytime soon.  “I want fans to know I still love to party,” he joked to People, but did say his diagnosis with type 1 diabetes has made him make healthier life choices, from checking his insulin to making sure he “can maintain that longevity of continuing to play music and being a good dad.”

So, what resolutions does the “Unskinny Bop” singer have for 2020? He tells People, “Rock harder, play harder, have a great time, help as many people as I can through philanthropy and keep improving as a dad.”
