A woman who told officers she used methamphetamine to give herself enough energy to work two jobs appeared in Baxter County Circuit Court last Thursday.

Thirty-six-year-old Jennifer Sharee Wilson, who lists a Flippin address on court records, entered a plea of not guilty to charges of possessing methamphetamine and marijuana and paraphernalia used to ingest the drugs.

She was ordered to reappear in circuit court Thursday.

Wilson was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over by a Mountain Home Police officer on a traffic violation in early December.

When the vehicle stopped, the officer reported Wilson got out and began walking at a “fast pace” toward a nearby residence. The officer stopped her and as he walked the path Wilson took as she headed toward the residence, he reported discovering a brown pouch.

The pouch contained what appeared to be marijuana and methamphetamine, as well as paraphernalia for ingesting the drugs. There were other items found in the vehicle.

The officer said he noted the “strong odor” of marijuana coming from Wilson’s person. It was at this point, according to the probable cause affidavit, Wilson admitted her use of methamphetamine and marijuana.

She is free on $5,000 bond.
