ABC/Image Group LAHow would you like to host a Green Day backyard concert? Well, now’s your chance.

In an Instagram video, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong reveals that he and his band are planning “some surprises” to celebrate the release of their upcoming album Father of All…, and it might involve the punk trio playing your house.

“One thing I was thinking is, does anybody have, like, a relatively big backyard that we could do a backyard party somewhere?” Armstrong muses. “We can come play at your house or your garage or backyard. Or, I don’t know, do you have, like, a barn, or is there a church or a church parking lot?”

Armstrong adds that he was “conceived in a church parking lot,” should that have any influence on your local church’s availability.

“Anyways,” he continues, “Just hijinks, fun, mischief, backyard party with your favorite band, Green Day!”

Oh, and if you’re thinking of suggesting your backyard, you should note that the location needs to be in California.

Father of All…, the follow-up to 2016’s Revolution Radio, arrives February 7. Green Day will be playing much bigger venues in support of the record on this summer’s Hella Mega tour with Fall Out Boy and Weezer.
