Mountain Home City Council faces light agenda for first meeting of 2020

The Mountain Home City council has just two items of new business to consider when it conducts its first meeting of 2020 Thursday evening at 6 in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building.Under new business, the council will consider adjustments to the budget for the Parks and Recreation Department. In the council’s previous meeting, the Parks and Recreation budget was tabled due to recent changes in personnel at the city Treasurer’s Office. At the time, Mayor Hillrey Adams said the city was taking a closer look at its finances before advancing a complete budget, including Parks and Recreation.The council will also consider the appointment of Philip Frame to the Mountain Home Planning Commission.

The meeting is open to the public.
