There is basketball scheduled for Saturday, as Mountain Home’s seventh grade teams will be in tournament action at Cave City. The boys will meet Pocahontas at 9:40, and the girls will take the court at 12:20.
The Alpena Junior High Tournament will get underway Saturday. On the boys’ side, Flippin and St. Joe tip off at 10 a.m., Valley Springs meets Deer at 1, and Bruno-Pyatt faces Western Grove at 2. On the girls’ bracket, St. Joe takes on Alpena at 11, Bruno-Pyatt plays Kingston at 3, and Omaha will be paired with Green Forest at 4.
On the high school level, Viola’s girls will play for the championship of the George Kell Classic at Swifton. The Lady Longhorns will square off against Marmaduke at 6 p.m.
