The Baxter County Spelling Bee will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at The Sheid on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home.This year 36 contestants in grades three through eight from the Cotter School District, Mountain Home Christian Academy and Mountain Home Public Schools, who have won their grade-level spelling bees, will compete for the chance to advance to the Arkansas State Spelling Bee.Only one winner will advance to the state level. The 2020 Arkansas State Spelling Bee will take place on Saturday, Feb. 1, at Cabot High School’s Fine Arts Auditorium.
